Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Rizmo, an AI tool that suggests replies for dating-app chats. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Rizmo.
1. What Rizmo is
Rizmo (operated by the Rizmo team from Spain, contact hello@rizmo.app) accepts a screenshot of a chat and returns AI-generated reply suggestions. The suggestions are starting points written by a large language model. They are not relationship advice, mental-health advice, or legal advice. You decide what to send.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Rizmo. By using the service, you confirm that you are. We will close any account we have reason to believe belongs to a minor.
3. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password reasonable. Do not share your account with others. If you suspect unauthorized use, tell us at hello@rizmo.app.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Pro is a recurring subscription you can cancel any time from your account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Lifetime is a one-time charge. We do not store your card information. Refunds are handled case by case at hello@rizmo.app within 14 days of the initial Pro charge if you have not used the paid features. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after delivery of the upgrade.
Prices, plans, and free-tier limits can change. We will not change the price of an active subscription mid-period without notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Rizmo to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate any real person
- Generate content directed at minors in a romantic or sexual context
- Spam, scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the service
- Resell or rebrand Rizmo output as your own product
- Send screenshots that contain content you do not have the right to share (someone else's private messages obtained without permission, for example)
We can suspend or close any account that violates this section.
6. AI-generated content
Rizmo's suggestions are produced by a large language model. They can be wrong, awkward, or off-tone. The model has no way to verify whether the screenshot represents a real conversation, who the other person is, or whether a suggested reply is a good idea in your specific context. You are responsible for what you send. Rizmo is a starting point, not a script.
7. Your content, our content
Screenshots you upload remain yours. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process the image so the AI can generate a reply. We do not sell your screenshots, train public models on them, or use them in marketing without explicit consent.
AI-generated reply text we provide is yours to use, edit, or send. The underlying Rizmo brand, code, design, copy, and trademarks remain ours.
8. Third-party services
Rizmo relies on third-party providers for payments (Stripe), AI inference (Anthropic), and infrastructure. Their terms and privacy notices apply to the parts of the service they handle. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service down for maintenance, urgent fixes, or migrations. We will not be liable for downtime beyond a pro-rated credit on the affected billing period for Pro subscribers if an outage exceeds 24 consecutive hours.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time from your profile or by emailing hello@rizmo.app. We can close yours if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates legal or operational risk for us. On closure, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Rizmo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties beyond those required by law in your jurisdiction. The service is not a substitute for human judgment, professional advice, or your own dating decisions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rizmo's total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) twenty euros. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under EU or other consumer-protection law that applies to you.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes that affect paid subscribers (price, refund policy, scope of license), we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be heard by the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
